A bit of our life, in words.

We went to the vet today and took Jasmine and Tiger for a “check-up” and to buy a kind of “pet insurance” for them. The whole trip took about 3 hours! probably half of that was waiting. Anyway, come to find out, Tiger’s a girl. We were thinking this whole time he was a boy, cause that’s what the guy we got her from told us; and we never really checked or thought too much of it. It took me forever to call her “him” too, because I was so used to Peaches and calling a cat “her”. Now I have to switch back!

They both got three shots. Jasmine was really sore today, to where we couldn’t even pick her up. She’s better now. Tiger just slept it off. We’re probably going to think of a different name for her now. We’re not sure yet.

I took a plunge and bought an R/C Airplane today. It should get here in about a week. More on that once I get it.

The new “certified site” I’m working on is coming together. A working version will be up within a week or so. I’m also working on a redesign (or re-do even) of the web site for the church here in Katy. That needs to be done by Friday from what I understand.

Pam’s much, much better now. She’s enjoying working at Childtime.

My cousin’s cat passed away today and this in my mind kind of closes an era. I remember that cat and their other one as kittens when we were little kids, and we’d be over there for Christmas just having all kinds of fun. But we’re all grown up now and the kittens have grown old and passed away and life moves on. We really are here for such a short time.
