So I uploaded a few pictures on our Picasa Web site. A couple of photos of our outside Christmas lights and Christmas tree (yet unfinished at the time, I need to take some pictures of the finished product!), and a few pictures from thanksgiving.

I also uploaded some sample video from our HD camcorder of the helicopter that landed behind our house. There’s the TrueHD version and the 720p version (DVD quality). The TrueHD may be too big for most screens! It’s in WMV format, sorry Mac users (unless you’ve downloaded codecs)! I’m still finding a happy medium for all of us.

– 1080i version (1920 x 1080) – 106MB
– 720p version (1280 x 720) – 66MB

UPDATE: The compression done on the video doesn’t do it full justice. Sorry! The only way to get the whole effect would be to download the raw video. But you get the idea. Also, you’ll probably need a fairly decent computer to play the 1080i version, it does take some work.
