Progress
Well, they’re finally starting to build the house on the other side of us today. They really just popped up out of no where. The guy to initially level the ground, the truck loads of dirt, then another guy who levels that. Then they have to guy who brought a truck load of lumber, the guy to mark off the dimensions of the house and the guy to start building the outline for the foundation. There’s a lot of people out there right now! Usually the guy who does the “initial leveling” will come about a week before anything else happens. That’s how we’re usually able to tell when something’s about to start. And then it will progress daily from there.
So… usually everything that’s happening right now usually happens over 2 weeks or so.
Other News…
I’ve been really meticulous about plugging my iphone in whenever I can, especially after the AT&T employee complained about battery life after prolonged use. But Apple suggests running a full battery cycle at least once a month, and so that’s what I’m working on. It’s had 4.5 hours of use (talking, internet, other functions) over the last 6.2 days, and the battery meter JUST now hit the 50% mark. Anyway, I’m impressed. At this rate it will be going longer than my Blackjack normally did… and I loved how I never really had to worry about battery life with the Blackjack (which ultimately resulted in missed calls when I would leave it in the car or something and not realize the dead battery for a day or two… since I just expected it to be charged!).
