So I’ve been using Google Apps for our main domain hihowareyou.com for one month now, and it’s caught 6,038 spam messages since. I don’t remember exactly, but I would guess only about 10 messages ever got through to the inbox that shouldn’t have. Pretty cool!
I’m using Google Apps for a lot of my other domains now, and with any new customer I have with the web business, they’ll be using it too. It’s so awesome to have my domain e-mail anywhere, along with shared calendar, contacts, etc.
So, I spoke too soon. Shortly after I reported the 50% battery usage, I made about an hour’s worth of calls, which the battery quickly made it to 20% and then dead. So total standby and usage time came out to about 5.5 hours usage and almost 7 days standby. But I’m happy! That’s still over the rated amount given on their website.
The house next door now has the plumbing done, the foundation trenches dug, and the foundation wire in place. I wonder if they’re paying for expedited building, or if the builders just don’t have much to do and are really on top of things. I think this is the only house being built in the neighborhood right now, so building has dramatically decreased.
We went to the Cheesecake Factory today and had lunch. It was good… though my favorite part was going to the Apple store! It was so crowded though, especially with 6 new MacBook Airs on display. My next goal is a MacBook Pro… they’re so expensive though.
