Our little chick died
We had bought 3 little chicks for easter ($3/each). Pam had originally bought one yellow (dyed) chick, and I wanted to go back and get two more (a white and brown one). We think maybe Amber grabbed him too hard or something (the yellow one was the only one she handled herself).
It wasn’t looking good this morning, and this afternoon it was having lots of trouble breathing.
So this evening at 5:50pm, our little yellow chick died and was buried in the field behind our house. It was sad.
Um… buying chicks at Easter? That’s the true meaning! lol
What did you plan to do with them once they grew up?
Amber was probably just foreseeing the future of them pooping all over your yard and scaring her.
They will take them back when we don’t want them anymore (or after easter, whichever comes first).
Who ever celebrated Easter for the “real” reason anyway? Should we even be celebrating it once a year every year? Same goes for Christmas…
