A bit of our life, in words.

So I’ve been “selected” for jury duty again tomorrow. This is the second time in just over a year and I’m not looking forward to it. Last time I had it just two weeks before the wedding; and apparently being two weeks away from a wedding is not reason enough for the judge to excuse you from a trial that will last a week or more. Also being the sole owner of a business is not reason enough either; which I find very frustrating. If I’m the only one to answer the phone, process orders (or what have you) and “keep the business running”… I’m still obligated to drop everything that pays my bills for a week or so to attend a trial. Blah.
